TEXAS – Police say a woman accused of drunk driving – who nearly crashed her car before officers could pull her over – complained to them about breaking a fingernail!
According to a report on UltimateClearLake.com, 31-year-old Stephanie Renee Martinez was spotted by police allegedly speeding in Friendswood, Tx. around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Before the officer could stop her, she allegedly swerved out of her lane, hit a curb, and drove back into the roadway.
When the police approached the car, the report continued, officers could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle.
The report says that when Martinez was told by the officer they witnessed her near crash, she told them that she had broken a fingernail.
Charges against Martinez, if any, are not yet known.
