Officers say the 34-year-old female driver of the SUV fell asleep, left the road, and crashed into the ground floor apartment.

40-year-old John Glavin was asleep in bed when the SUV crashed through the apartment wall.

Glavin was transported to Emanuel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and the driver, Crystal Tomlin, was not arrested at the scene. The investigation is on-going.
