OREGON – A man is lucky to be alive after an SUV crashed through the wall of his apartment, trapping him in his bed.
The incident happened Saturday morning around 1:22 a.m. at the apartment complex on the 12000 block of Barnes Road.
Officers say the 34-year-old female driver of the SUV fell asleep, left the road, and crashed into the ground floor apartment.
40-year-old John Glavin was asleep in bed when the SUV crashed through the apartment wall.
Glavin was transported to Emanuel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and the driver, Crystal Tomlin, was not arrested at the scene. The investigation is on-going.
